This is an exciting new venture in the School holiday periods. Each session will focus on a particular aspect of Philosophy which should be engaging, enjoyable and relevant to all.
What to expect:
1) Focus on an aspect of philosophy from East or West relevant to life today. We may also include sessions related Arts and Economics with Justice and the sessions are likely to include occasional break-out groups and we welcome and respond to any questions or. . .
2) A philosophical practice or exercise and share our experiences. eg Sanskrit chanting, Walking meditation, Calligraphy practice etc
3) We will enjoy tea and coffee and good company in the Hub Cafe or in their relaxing open-air seating areas.
It will take place during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays on Tuesday afternoons – see above for details of the next sessions.
- Suggested Voluntary donation – £5 / session (by cash or card) on the day or by booking a place in advance. (Limited places – 1st come 1st served if oversubscribed)
We will always endeavour to find fresh ways to energise and inspire the practical work of philosophy and everyone is welcome.
