Waterperry Gardens – Our residential courses are run at Waterperry House which is located in the beautiful Waterperry Gardens.
Waterperry House near Wheatley, Oxfordshire is our main study Centre and is used for residential courses in Practical Philosophy. Waterperry has beautiful gardens and for many years it has been a centre of excellence in horticulture; it also houses the national collection of Saxifrages. Waterperry House can be hired out for small or large events.
Nanpantan Hall, near Loughborough is also used as a study centre for residential courses in Practical Philosophy. Here is an aerial video of Nanpantan Hall and some of the surrounding grounds.
ASSOCIATED ORGANISATIONS:
The Platonic Foundation for the new translation of the complete works of Plato by Dr David Horan published FREE on the web since 2022. Prof. John Dillon, MRIA,FBA, Regius Professor of Greek (Emeritus), Trinity College Dublin, a world authority on the later Platonists, serves as the Foundation’s Patron.
Henry George Foundation. Economics in the School of Philosophy and Economic Science started with the study of the works Henry George and has been strongly influenced by his ideas.

St James Schools – These schools were founded by Leon MacLaren who was also the founder of the School of Philosophy and Economic Science.
PERFORMING ARTS:
Waterperry Opera Festival – An annual festival full of promising young talent run in the beautiful grounds of Waterperry House, Oxfordshire.
Richmond Shakespeare Society – We frequently take parties of students to these local Shakespeare productions which are excellent and highly recommended.
Shakespeares Globe – Great productions.
The Rose Theatre – we also attend their Shakespeare productions also highly recommend
